Benefits:
The VELUX SSS solar blackout blind stops the sun’s rays before they reach the room. Due to its unique structure and slightly translucent material, it obscures the attic without the impression of being cut off from the surroundings outside the window. It is electrically powered from a built-in solar battery and does not require a separate power supply. A powerful battery will ensure comfortable operation for a long time. It can be operated via the wall keypad included in the set or in conjunction with the VELUX Active control unit, for example via a smartphone app.
- SSS is a product with effective protection against heat and, unlike a traditional awning, gives significant attic shading (approx. 85%).
- Available only in a solar version with pre-paired wall-mounted keypad
- New, simplified design guarantees fast and easy installation
- A powerful battery for long-time comfortable operation

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the price may change after measurements because the window/door dimensions previously provided by the Customer will probably change. However, they are not usually the biggest cause of price changes. The changes are most often influenced by add-ons and product upgrades chosen by the Customer after measurements, such as colour changes, glazing units or accessories (e.g. silent closing, handles, electronic controls, etc.).
