Roof Terrace Window GEL 2065 

A system of window and door elements, creating an exit to the balcony. Made of glued laminated, impregnated and lacquered pine wood. This unusual solution in a unique style ensures direct contact with the outside world. You can open the upper part of the GEL balcony window in the same way as another roof window with a lower opening to ventilate the room. After opening both parts, you will go out onto the roof terrace and get the most out of the loft space. The windows are marked by VELUX with the Premium class.

GEL 2065 – benefits:

Recommended dimensions for installation:

Upper window edge at a height of about 200 cm. Side by side elements mounted at 10 cm intervals or using a twin beam.

For reasons of structural stability, only one element can be opened in a combi set.

Important note:

It’s necessary to choose a sealing flashing for window, which is an essential element when you install the window. The flashing is selected depending on the roofing (e.g. roof tile type, thatch tile, steel tile, shingle, roofing felt etc.) and roof pitch. Flashing is used to seal the window and drain water and snow beyond its outline.

The two lower parts with door functions cannot be mounted next to each other. The hardware of the VEA/VEB components must always be embedded in the original rafters of the roof structure!
